Lipofilling

Lipofilling is a method of aesthetic surgery used to correct appearance defects that cannot be eliminated with cosmetics or hardware cosmetology. It implies the use of the patient's own adipose tissue. The procedure is an excellent addition to rejuvenation of the skin of the face and body, as well as the ideal material for modeling, restoring, improving and regenerating soft tissues.

The purpose of Lipofilling

The procedure is aimed at correcting some appearance defects by filling problem areas with fat taken from other parts of the body. Since Lipofilling does not require any subsequent treatment, there is no need to stay in the clinic. Most patients go home on the same day. After Lipofilling, wearing compression linen is recommended.

Everyone knows about the liposuction method, in which excess fat is sucked out of the body. Lipofilling also includes this stage. First, excess fat is removed from one area (as a rule, this area is the abdomen). With the help of injections, it is introduced into problem areas - mammary glands, nasolabial folds, cheeks or buttocks.

Indications for conducting the procedure

Lipofilling is recommended in the following cases:

  • reduction of the subcutaneous fat layer;
  • deep wrinkles, scars or scarring;
  • increased cheekbones, chin, buttocks, chest;
  • thin lips lacking natural volume;
  • soft tissue defects after injury;
  • asymmetry of body parts or desire to change contours;
  • sagging skin or loss of elasticity of muscle structures.
Lipofilling options

Procedure areas:

  • Face - to restore skin elasticity, fill lines, eliminate nasolabial folds and tear troughs, fill lips, correct chin and cheeks.
  • Chest, buttocks - to enlarge or correct shape.
  • Legs - to change shape, correct curvature, enlarge the tibia and thighs.

Lipofilling is a popular and effective procedure in the field of aesthetic medicine. It helps to cope with various defects and improves the contours of the patient body.

Procedure

Lipofilling is done under general or local anesthesia. It takes place in several stages:

  1. A plastic surgeon removes adipose tissue from the inner surface of the thighs or abdomen, making small punctures of 3-5 mm using a special cannula. The method of atraumatic water-jet liposuction is used.
  2. The extracted material is processed. The biopreparation obtained is placed in the subcutaneous tissue of the problem area using a special syringe.

Fat tissue is injected in small doses, usually 30% more than the required volume. This is due to the fact that over time its number decreases.

Preparation for Lipofilling includes the following recommendations:

  • exclude heavy physical exertion and stressful situations for 3-4 days;
  • avoiding drinking and smoking 2-3 days before the procedure.

The preparatory stage affects the course of Lipofilling and the recovery period. Preliminary laboratory and instrumental examinations are carried out (blood and urine analysis, determination of blood clotting parameters, biochemical examination, electrocardiogram, fluorography).

Recovery period

It is recommended to wear compression linen after Lipofilling. During the recovery period, it is unacceptable to visit steam rooms and saunas for 3-4 weeks. The result of the procedure can be observed in 1-2 months.

Benefits of life before and after

Lipofilling gives a natural and long-term result - "volumetric" rejuvenation. The patient gets the opportunity to fill the problem areas with the necessary volume of subcutaneous fat without the use of implants. In most cases, the effect stays until the end of life.
